The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will soon release the official notification for the recruitment of 4,098 posts under the RRB JE Recruitment 2026 drive. The vacancies include positions such as Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).
Candidates who meet the required eligibility criteria can submit their applications online through the official RRB portal from 14 August 2026 to 13 September 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should have completed any of the following qualifications from a recognized institution:
- Three-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Civil Engineering.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline.
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification (as specified in the official notification).
Age Limit
- Candidates must not be more than 33 years of age as on 13 September 2026.
- Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per RRB rules.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed under Level-6 of the Pay Matrix and will receive a monthly salary between:
- ₹35,400 and ₹1,12,400
Application Fee
- SC/ST, PwBD, and Female Candidates: ₹250
- General/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹500
Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates will be based on the following stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Skill Test (where applicable)
- Physical Test (if required)
- Document Verification
